I am a dorky crafter!

Somehow this little USB-powered tree needed a home, and for $7 it found one at my computer.  But what about a tree skirt?  Fixed it right up with some felt, beads and thread, and now it is a cozy mini tree. I love small, quick projects, and when they make you happy, then why not do it!!!

Tunisian Crochet Sample

I found an excellent tutorial on Pinterest for Tunisian crochet.  I think it is a little tricky at parts, but have learned to loosen the tension which helps a lot!  Here is a 2 inch (11 chains) practice square using Loops & Threads Cotton Club yarn in Vintage.  I love these colors and I think the different colors really show the stitches well!  Now I am on to 21 chains.  Find the tutorial here:  http://crochetingthedayaway.blogspot.com/2011/10/tunisian-crochet-how-to-basic-tunisian.html

I am still talking to myself apparently, but eh, that's alright!
